ConfigTrace Docs

ConfigTrace is configuration observability for cloud, SaaS, and developer infrastructure. These guides cover how to connect each provider, the required read-only permissions, and exactly what ConfigTrace monitors — and does not read. 20 providers are live and ready to connect.

Getting started

Provider setup guides

Each guide covers credentials setup, required permissions, and exactly what ConfigTrace monitors and does not read.

Teams & workspaces

Every ConfigTrace account belongs to a workspace. A workspace holds your integrations, your team's timeline view, and your billing plan.

  • Roles: Owner (full control), Admin (manage integrations and members), Member (read-only timeline).
  • Inviting teammates: Go to Settings → Workspace → Members. Enter an email and assign a role. The invitee receives a link; if the email doesn't arrive, share the fallback invite link directly.
  • Workspace switcher: You can belong to multiple workspaces. Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to move between them.
  • Audit log: All admin actions (invites, integration changes, billing events) are recorded at Settings → Workspace → Audit Log.

Billing & limits

ConfigTrace offers three plans. Only workspace owners and admins can manage billing.

Plan Integrations Members Sync interval History
Free 3 1 (owner) 60 min 30 days
Pro $29/mo 20 5 15 min 180 days
Team $79/mo 100 25 5 min 365 days

Billing is managed at Settings → Workspace → Billing. If you hit an integration or member limit, ConfigTrace will block the action and show an upgrade prompt.
